Join us in the fight for economic justice and an end to global poverty.

Where will you be on 1 September?

By Sarah Reader, 13 August 2012

I’ll be joining WDM groups and campaigners in Bristol for ‘Making a movement: tools, skills and networking for social justice’. You should come too!

There will be campaign updates from WDM staff, as well as a session on ‘making the most of the web to grow your group’, and a screening of the film ‘Growing Change’ about the food sovereignty movement in Venezuela.

It will also be a chance to hear first hand about WDM’s trip to the Rio +20 Earth Summit, and to learn new skills ranging from taking great photographs of actions and events to creative campaigning.

Whether you’re a seasoned campaigner looking to share stories and pick up some new tips, or brand new to local campaigning – this is the event for you.

When: Saturday 1 September, 10.30- 5pm
Where: Horfield Quaker Meeting House, 300 Gloucester Road, Bristol, BS7 8PD

The event is free to attend and lunch will be provided.

Email Katharine (katharine@wdm.org.uk) to book your free place or call 020 7820 4900

See you there!
