No new coal: stop Kingsnorth

Tell Gordon Brown to put a stop to a new generation of dirty coal power.

In the next few months, Gordon Brown will be responsible for deciding whether to give the go ahead to Kingsnorth, the UK’s first new coal fired power station in over 20 years. Coal is the dirtiest way of generating electricity and Kingsnorth would emit as much carbon as the whole of Ghana.

Climate change threatens the poorest people in the world the most – the people who themselves are least responsible for creating the problem in the first place.
