Increase the value of your gift by 25%

If you are a UK taxpayer, the value of your gift can be increased by almost a third under the Gift Aid Scheme at no extra cost to you.

Gift Aid

If you are a UK taxpayer, the Gift Aid scheme allows WDM to receive just over 25 pence for every £1 you donate back from HM Revenue & Customs. So, for example, if you donate £10 to WDM, HM Revenue & Customs will add £2.50, and WDM will receive £12.50 in total.

To qualify for Gift Aid, you must pay an amount of income tax or capital gains tax at least equal to the amount we reclaim in the tax year (6 April 2010 to 5 April 2011 and each year thereafter). If you have already signed a Gift Aid declaration with WDM then thank you very much.

Gift Aid declaration cannot be made in joint names. Please let us know if you stop paying tax.
