Climate change: a matter of global justice

Climate change worldCome along to one of our public meetings to find out more and take action with WDM to end climate injustice.

We have invited Ricardo Navarro from El Salvador to give his perspective on how climate change is affecting poor communities around the world. Ricardo is a former Chair of Friends of the Earth International and founded CESTA (the Salvadorian Centre for Appropriate Technology).

In 1995 Ricardo received the Goldman award, the Green equivalent of the Nobel prize. He says “the struggle for the environment is the struggle for our own survival – we cannot afford not to get involved.”
