Vote now

On Sunday, 26 September, 2004, over 8,000 trade justice protesters sent a colourful, clear and vibrant message to Tony Blair and Gordon Brown that they must abandon their free trade policies that are damaging the world's poorest communities and the environment. More than 60,000 ballot votes were also cast.

Afterwards, hundreds of people attended WDM's The Arts of Resistance event in which they wound down to poetry and then were wound up again by acts such as Brighton's Tragic Roundabout and the belly-dancing rap artist Jelly Bone. We demand trade justice now!

Here are some photos from the event. More photos here. For more stories from the day, visit the Trade Justice Movement website.
