Take action: Stop taxpayers' money funding climate change

Tell the Chancellor, George Osborne, to stop the Royal Bank of Scotland investing taxpayers’ money in projects and companies that are wrecking the climate and threatening human rights.

Since the bail-out in 2008, the UK government has given one bank more than any other. A staggering £45.5 billion – the GDP of Kenya and Tanzania combined – of UK taxpayers’ money has been used to prop up the Royal Bank of Scotland. And RBS has been using that money to finance projects and companies that are wrecking the climate and threatening human rights.

Act now to stop your money being used to fund climate change

Camp for Climate Action: 21st - 24th August 2010

The Camp for Climate Action is a grassroots movement taking direct action against the root causes of climate change. This year they're targeting the Royal Bank of Scotland.

If you are unable to attend Climate Camp, you can still take part by feeding into the media - highlighting what is going on and why, and engaging with any media coverage (especially negative coverage) by writing letters, commenting on articles online and using social media such as Twitter, Facebook etc.
