Sheffield WDM

Public Meetings: Generally two or three a year.

Members Meetings: Again two or three a year. They offer a chance to get to know one another better, and to make ourselves better informed. It is also a good opportunity for prospective members to find out more about WDM.

Pub Meetings:
Next: Monday 15th Dec, 8-10pm, Bath Hotel, Victoria Street, Sheffield.
The monthly pub meetings provide a chance to debate and understand issues and generate creative ideas about how to change things. We don’t want them just to be about discussion, we want some action to come out of them and hopefully kickoff more projects like the climate ark. At the moment we're focusing on trade issues. We’re very welcoming. For lots more information see: http://wdmsheffield.pbwiki.com.

Phone Ruth for more information 07962 981017.

Planning Meetings for responding to WDM national campaigns, planning new campaigns, meetings, etc. take place monthly. If you would like to come along, contact .

Recent events: "The Poor Suffer First : Meeting the challenge of climate change"  An interagency conference, Sat 22nd November.

WDM in Sheffield works with many groups, including People and Planet, Trade Justice Movement, Sheffield Initiative for Fair Trade, the Jubilee Debt Campaign, Christian Aid, CAFOD, Oxfam, UNA and CAAT.
