Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership (TTIP)

Stop the corporate power grab

On 12 July social justice activists, trade unionists, anti-poverty and environmental campaigners will come together to say no to TTIP. We need your help to make this happen.

The Transatlantic Trade & Investment Partnership (or TTIP for short) is a so-called ‘free trade’ deal being negotiated by the EU and US. The deal will give big business more power over our society, environment, public services, and democracy.
But we can defeat this deal.

That’s why we call on activists around the country to demonstrate their opposition to the TTIP on 12 July. If you want to take part – either by organising your own action or joining one that already exists – sign up by sending an email to activism@wdm.org.uk. We’ll let you know how you can get more involved and keep you up to date with what’s happening in your area. On this page you’ll also find background resources explaining why the battle against TTIP is so important.
